FROZEN LEMON YOGURTIngredients: 1 32-oz. carton plain yogurt1 2/3 c. sugar1/3 c. lemon juice1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel4 drops yellow food coloring (if desired)In bowl, combine yogurt, sugar, lemon juice and peel; mix well. Stir in food coloring. Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer 2/3 full; freeze according to directions. Refrigerate remaining mixture until ready to freeze. Allow to ripen in ice cream freezer or firm up in refrigerator freezer for at least 2-4 hours before serving. Yield: 5 cups. |
