SAUCEPAN COOKIESIngredients: 1/2 c. butter or margarine3/4 c. sugar2 eggs, beaten1/2 tsp. salt1 c. chopped dates1/2 c. chopped walnutsCombine ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Cool for 5 minutes, then fold in 2 c. rice krispies. Form into balls about 1" in diameter. Roll in coconut. Yield: 3 dozen cookies. |
