PICKLED CHERRIESIngredients: 3 lbs. large cherries2 Tbsp. salt2 Tbsp. sugar2 c. wine vinegar2 c. cold waterWash cherries well. Do not remove stems. Pack cherries in sterile jars. Mix all other ingredients together, stir until salt and sugar are well dissolved. Fill jars right to top rim with brine and seal. Keep sealed for at least 2 months. Yield: 4 pints. |
