7 Minute Frosting E-mail

 

SEVEN MINUTE FROSTING1 egg white2/3 c. sugar1/8 tsp. cream of tartar1 tsp. vanilla1/8 tsp. salt1/4 c. water1 Tbsp. corn syrupCombine all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water and beat with electric mixer at medium speed until soft peaks form. Remove from the hot water, add vanilla and continue to beat on low speed until frosting is cool and will stand in firm peaks.
